Rado Watch

In 1957, Swiss SCHLUP Company, formerly a professional watch core supplier, first launched its watch products with RADO as its brand.

Five years later, RADO Watch unveiled the first wearable watch----DIASTAR, who instantly conquerred the market with its elliptic shape design and its innovative high-tech metal materials.

From then on, RADO began its success path by means of integrating special materials and graceful designs.
All its accomplishments originate from Mr. MARC LEDERRY''s innovation, chief of the designers.

Last 60s' fashions were gold and steel watches, though they were beautiful when new, trace of wearing would show several days later, and the watches then would need polishing.
Mr. MARC LEDERRY noticed that the hard metal compound with tungsten and titanium and carbide (at that time used in toolmaking and high-tech fieds), has very high wear resistance, so he advised applying this high-tech hard metal in watch manufature. And his suggestion was supported by RADO Watch's President PAUL LUTHI, under which the first wearable watch was born.

This is the legend of RADO Watch DIASTAR, and to date, RADO is still the most popular among watch collections.

After ten years' research and development, RADO invented more and more wearable materials and applied them to watchmaking business. It never stopped challenging itself to a higher level, and it continuously made accomplishments, from high-tech hard metal to high-tech ceramic, from sapphire crystal to high-tech lanthanum metal and further to high-tech diamond whose hardness is up to 10,000 Wels.
Hidden by the new materials is the capacious room for imagination, the emotional action, and the super technology, and brought by the new materials are the watches that are still beautiful and new-looking after a time of use.

Now wearable RADO is a conventional image.

The unique and eternal design is RADO Watch's another pursuit, which is clearlly individuallized, smoothly lined and with strong spirit of modernization and innovation.

When asked the pursuit of RADO Watch in design, the Global President Mr. ROLAND STREULE is ready to say, " What we pursuit is not the fashion that lasts for a year or so, that is too short a time. What we bring to the world is an eternal and classical beauty, living up to the test of time, just as our materials in watch."

In fact, the design of RADO Watch always seek to ex

ceeds the limit of time and space, to invent classical and perfect styles. The achievement that RADO Watch is uniquly designed and comfortable to wear is obtained together by designers, material experts and watchmaking engineers.

RADO Watch has its own design centre and has close relation with manny free designers.Among the countless manuscripts and designs, only few perfect ones can be put into production after series of selections and improvements

Make Her Feel Loved

So you're all set to get that particular hottie home for dinner? Well you can't afford to goof-up, so stick to these simple steps. Once you've tickled her taste buds, go for more. Amen and ahem!

Set it right. Get it right
Even the prettiest of women looks terrible under an unflattering tubelight. Try dim lighting, low sweating, scented candles, fancy china, lacy linen. Music is the food of love, so play it up. Clue: women are suckers for mush, so try Eric Clapton or Bryan Adams.
Planning makes perfect

Gone are the days when you spiked her drink at the high school party. This time, lay it all out. Include aphrodisiacs in the menu and see her pulse rising for some uninterrupted action. Champagne, oysters, chocolate and figs have quite a reputation for getting people amorous. Wanna try?
Forget the spoons

Yes, it's bad manners and the fingers get very messy but hey, what the hell. Feed each other. Licking each other's chocolate-dripping fingers or using a blindfold for tasting quizzes would spell foreplay with a capital F - a delicious appetiser, what say?

Surprise her

C'mon, it needn't be an engagement ring drowned in the wine glass; very filmy but the ladies love it. Even simple things like her favourite fragrance or words you're otherwise economical with. Try the magic three if you're up to it.
Breakfast in bed?

Why should the good times end? Let the magic continue the morning after. Bake some breakfast treats ahead of time and spend the morning under the covers. Or skip breakfast altogether and just snuggle, snuggle and snuggle...

Jewellery

In our age of mass media, mass consumption and mass consciousness being different is not an easy task. Contemporary jewellery has been for a while predominately minimalist, using smooth, curved lines to create a polished look that embodies the form of industrial mass consumerism. But this is changing; when this year is remembered it will be for change, development and progression. Not many months have passed and yet many events have taken place that have changed the course of history, stimulating global awareness in a way that is itself a cause for hope. Jewellery trends for 2009 are riding the wave of this change, fashion has always demonstrated dominant ideology and this year is no different, except that the ideology has changed. We are arriving at a mind set that has natural beauty and self worth at its heart; this is the phoenix that has arisen from the flames of global discord.Catwalk StylesLook no further than the catwalk and you can see the importance that is being given to symbolic adornments that glamorise and accentuate the strength and uniqueness of us as individuals. The bottom line in these uncertain times is that we must empower ourselves. Statement necklaces, long earrings and multiple bangles can be used to achieve this; they get us noticed as creative individuals and dramatically show that we have something to say. Not many of us can afford or would wish to wear the spectacular but impractical styles flaunted on the catwalk in our everyday lives. But we can bring the vibe of haute couture and the realism that characterises 2009 to our wardrobes with key statement pieces, so that we can visually demonstrate that we are moving with the times, that we are the embodiment of contemporary thinking.
Black JewelleryThere are a number of trends that are emerging; the first involves black and silver jewellery. This trend is a good one to develop because black jewellery can be worn on all occasions, you can dress it up or dress it down. Buying striking black jewellery allows you to draw together many different outfits and you can keep the key vibe, big impressions, without making a huge impression on your wallet. An extra bonus is that black jewellery is not going to go out of fashion, invest in a quality piece and you will be wearing it for many years to come.

Quality is another thing to come back into mainstream fashion, the throw away culture of the 90's is being outmoded by products that last far longer than a season. It is no longer stylish to have many disposable pieces of jewellery, the focus on being green has now extended to our jewellery boxes. Mother nature is once again being recognised as the greatest designer of all. Natural, floral and leaf form jewellery are now considered highly desirable as they are a symbolic indication that you are ethically inspired. Similarly the focus is on natural stones such as onyx, agate and mother of pearl. All of which are relatively inexpensive, but tick the contemporary ethical and natural boxes.

Men's Fashion

Metallic colors in fashion clothes is high in demand. This is to complement the fashion jewelry, also in high demand. Shades of pink, purple and turquoise are making a comeback in men's casual shirts and t-shirts.
The tunic was made of plain white wool. Men of social standing like Knights and senators had garnet colored vertical stripes on the tunic. This was popularly known as angusti clavi (with narrow stripe) and a senator's, lati clavi (with a wide stripe).

The garment was one of the most popular item in those days. The garment was a plain woolen shirt made of two pieces and sewn together at the sides and on the shoulders. The sleeves were generally short. The length of the garment was from shoulders till the knees and could be shortened with the help of a belt

Dress Design

Fashion designers can work in a number of ways. Fashion designers may work full-time for one fashion company, known as 'in-house designers' which owns the designs. They may work alone or as part of a team. Freelance designers work for themselves, selling their designs to fashion houses, directly to shops, or to clothing manufacturers. The garments bear the buyer's label. Some fashion designers set up their own labels, under which their designs are marketed. Some fashion designers are self-employed and design for individual clients. Other high-fashion designers cater to specialty stores or high-fashion department stores.

A fashion collection is something that designers put together each season to show their idea of new trends in both their high end couture range as well as their mass market range. It is considered to have a planned obsolescence usually of one to two seasons. A season is defined as either autumn/winter or spring/summer.

Fashion designers work in different ways. Some sketch their ideas on paper, while others drape fabric on a dress form. When a designer is completely satisfied with the fit of the toile (or muslin), he or she will consult a professional pattern maker who then makes the finished, working version of the pattern out of card. The pattern maker's job is very precise and painstaking. The fit of the finished garment depends on their accuracy. Finally, a sample garment is made up and tested on a model.
